CRICKET FEVER PICKS UP MOMENTUM: The UAE cricket fans are bracing for another bonanza with the top five Test-playing countries competing for Asia’s showpiece from August 27 to September 11. KENYA POLL DISPUTES SHOULD BE RESOLVED IN COURT: No election in Kenya since 2002 has gone uncontested in courts, which is fine. But the outbreak of violence in some areas after William Ruto was declared the winner of the August 9 poll undermines the democratic process. Ruto’s rival Raila Odinga should rein in his supporters and keep his promise of taking any dispute to court.
