Why it’s on our list Becasue you will be mesmerised by your surroundings and the ambience. The restaurant is on a pier (hence the name) and is water-bound with all-round views of the sea. Why it’s on our list Because it’s probably the highest high you’re ever going to be able to give your date. Literally, it holds the record for being the planet’s highest dining destination, nestled on122nd floor of the tallest building in the world - the Burj Khalifa. You can make the most of your time up in the clouds with a seven-course set menu with grape pairing and a four-course set menu with a bottle of grape in the lounge.
