Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salin has died. The June 8 incident is being termed a suicide, according to reports.
Accounts claim Salin fell from the 14th floor of a high-rise building in Mumbai.
Salian, who had earlier worked with actor Varun Sharma, Tamannaah Bhatia and comedian Bharti Singh, was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead.
Reports claim Salan was living with her fiance at time.
Her parents have already recorded their statement with the police.
Actor Sharma, who has worked with Salian, described her as a “lovely person and a dear friend.”
“Am at a loss of words . Speechless. Numb . It all looks unreal .So many memories … You always wore that smile everyday , and with such kindness you dealt with everything that came your way . You will be deeply missed.Prayers and Strength to the Family. I still can’t believe Disha you’re gone. Gone too Soon,” posted Sharma, along with an image.
Rajput also posted condolences via his Instagram story, stating he was "devastated" by the loss.
Salian’s reported suicide follows a spate of such deaths in showbiz including that of ‘Crime Patrol’ star Preksha Mehta, who hung herself from a ceiling fan in her native state Madhya Pradesh.
