Dubai: The 28th edition of the iconic Dubai Shopping festival edition that started on December 15 will come to an end on January 29. This means residents and visitors have just four days left to enjoy the DSF-special shopping bargains and events across the emirate. We compile the best things to do over the next four days to make the most of this season.

Fireworks: Throughout DSF, there were fireworks at various destinations across the city every weekend including Al Seef, La Mer, Dubai Creek, Dubai Festival City and The Beach at JBR. The last leg of these shows can be enjoyed at The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah or at Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR. If fireworks are on your plans after January 29, Global Village will continue to have their regular musical fireworks, on Friday and Saturday at 9pm. Dates: 24-28 January, The Pointe, at 9pm; 29 January, Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR, 10pm.

DSF drone show: Head to Bluewaters or The Beach, JBR to enjoy the longest-running drone light show in the Middle East. Featuring advanced 3D drones, the free shows run twice every night. Shows will take place at 7pm and 10pm daily.

Dubai Beats at D3: Adding to fireworks, drone shows and activations, Dubai Beats has returned this DSF season with two remaining nights of live music. On January 26, Shamma Hamdan, the first Emirati woman ever to become a finalist in a season of Arabs Got Talent, will perform – along with Kuwaiti popstar Bader Al Shuaibi and Lebanese artist Mouslem. On 27 January, Lebanese pop singers Farah Chreim and Lama Shreif and Jordanian musician, Hossam Sillawy will perform for the crowds.

Viral dance crew at City Walk: Viral hip-hop dance group, Quick Style will headline the City Walk’s DSF closing ceremony. Led by Norwegian-Pakistani twins, Suleman and Bilal Malik and their Norwegian-Thai best friend, Nasir Sirikhan, the trio propelled to fame when their Famous Wedding Show 2022 performance went viral, recording over 80 million views on YouTube. Catch their performances on Saturday, 28 January at 6.30pm and 8.15pm at the fountain area in City Walk. Fans also have a chance to meet the Quick Style crew at 8.30pm.

Closing celebrations with music at City Walk: On Friday, 27 January, Tunisian artist and Arabic singing talent show winner Amel Gharbi will enchant the crowd from 7pm to 8pm and 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Syrian bilingual artist Zeina Aftimos will perform Saturday, 28 January and X-Factor Kazakhstan finalist and vocalist Alina Postrova will close the celebrations on Sunday, 29 January.

Etisalat MOTB at D3: With free entry, this DSF-special outdoor market also draws to a close this week, after having opened to the public on January 19. MOTB or Market Outside the Box offers Instagrammable-moments and great food in a space inspired by New York-style architecture and street style.

Shopping: DSF is something that promises residents, and tourists from all over the world, amazing deals while shopping. These last four days could see whopping closing day deals on fashion, electronics and much more. DSF promotions also run on gold and other jewellery purchases – so plan to seek out the best discounts and deals over the next four days.
