Dubai: Students across the UAE are enjoying their summer vacations until the end of August and parents can expect a lot of cooped-up energy at home.
Keeping the children engaged and away from screens can be daunting. So, here is a list of summer camps to ensure your children stay active and have fun while you are at work.
Ski Dubai and Snow Abu Dhabi
In the first-ever summer camp season for Ski Dubai and Snow Abu Dhabi, children aged 4-10 can enjoy one day, one week or one-month-long activities this vacation. Expect snow park rides, penguin encounters, lunch and snacks, face painting, a movie and so much more.

Aventura Parks
This family destination boasts adventure activities, a discovery play area, a nature trail and Dubai's largest zipline park. For eight weeks, the destination will host weekly camps at Bright Learners Private School for children under exciting themes such as Under the Sea, Lost in Space, Jurassic Week, Forest Life, Forensics Week, and Camp Olympics. Designed for children aged 5 to 12, there are arts, science, physical activities and nature programs.

Dubai Mall
Dubai Mall has two summer camp experiences in store, one for kids aged 3 to 6, and another for kids aged 7 to 14. Dubai Mall Summer Camp includes fun and thrilling activities that children of all ages can enjoy and participate in. Camp goers will spend the first day enjoying a skating session at Dubai Ice Rink, followed by an afternoon visiting and learning about the iconic At the Top, Burj Khalifa. Over the remaining days of the four-day camp, kids will explore KidZania Dubai, Play DXB, Reel Cinema and Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.

The Green Planet
‘Summer Camp in the Rainforest’ is bound to be a hit if your child loves nature and exotic animals. The camp at The Green Planet features hands-on interactive activities including but not limited to, up-close-and-personal animal meet-and-greets, behind-the-scenes adventures and sustainability-themed explorations of the bio-dome and other parts of the rainforest. The camp will run every Monday to Thursday from 9am to 2pm.
Junior campers, aged 5 to 12, can also explore subjects like habitats, extinct animals and conservation through interactive games and arts and crafts, which means there will be more than enough to keep the young ones entertained.

Topgolf Dubai
This golfing destination is bringing back their TG Summer Camp for children aged 5 to 12. The amateur golfers will get to enjoy two hours of interactive golf lessons in cool, shaded bays. They can also try their hand at a variety of arcade and party games, fuel up with lunch at the Yard Bar, and splash around in the pool at Emirates Golf Club.

Jump Boxx Indoor Trampoline Park
This one is great if you have little tots who want to jump, bounce and run everywhere. For children aged five and older, Jump Boxx Indoor Trampoline Park in Upper Mirdiff Mall will host half-day and full-day weekly camps until August 31.

Clubhouse, Al Hamra Waterfront
Led by the Pro Swim Academy Team, children can enroll for a week-long summer camp with a variety of beach and water games, snorkeling adventures, arts, and craft sessions along with other activities arranged by the experienced team. The camp is designed for children aged 4 to 11.

Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island
Children aged four to 11 can enjoy a fun time at this Abu Dhabi property with various physical activities such as aqua aerobics, yoga, dance workout, swimming, water polo and football. Camp goers will also have the opportunity to do arts and crafts, learn to make bracelets and conduct scientific experiments, as well as enjoy face painting, bingo and quiz sessions among other games. Kids can also enjoy the pool while parents can unwind with a complimentary one-day pool pass.

Dubai Ice Rink
If your child caught the 'Frozen' bug and wants to waltz around the ice as gracefully as Elsa does, take them to these intensive weekly camps for budding and experienced ice skaters. Campers aged six and above can register. Consisting of four days of 30-minute lessons combined with 1 hour for students to practice their skills, each weekly course takes place between 3.15pm to 4.45pm from Sunday to Wednesday.

Millennium Place Barsha Heights
Enroll your little ones in this property’s ‘Hospitality Ninjas’ program this summer, dedicated to kids aged 4 to 12. The tiny Hospitality Ninjas will get a behind-the-scenes look into hospitality life as they take part in an array of daily activities. They will get to unleash their inner master chef via hands-on cooking classes, spark their creativity with arts and crafts sessions, take part in a treasure hunt, and learn how to make fluffy towel art animals they can recreate at home.

Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls
A summer camp for older kids, specifically girls, this one focuses on vocational education. A five-day camp organised by Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls, students will engage in hands-on activities that introduce pharmacy practice and perspective on the numerous ways a pharmacist contributes to improving people’s health.
With a nominal fee of Dh200, students can enroll in the camp by June 15. The fee includes course activities, materials, refreshments, lunch every day and a certificate. Students can win many exciting surprise prizes and scholarships to enroll at the college

Innoventures Education
Innoventures Education is running various summer camps for children aged 2 to 16 at multiple venues across Dubai. The camps will run Monday to Friday, from 3 July to 25 August, across schools and Early Childhood Centres operated by Innoventures Education. Kids can choose from football, swimming, gymnastics, tennis, basketball, dodgeball, climbing, archery, dance and arts and crafts. Younger children can enjoy mini-Olympics, water sports, sensory games, and much more.
