From November 21, 2024, to April 2, 2025, fashion enthusiasts and art lovers in Saudi Arabia will have the unique opportunity to experience the Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition, hosted at the Saudi National Museum as part of the Riyadh Season 2024 project. This celebrated exhibition, which previously captivated audiences at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, has been reimagined for its Riyadh debut, offering a fresh perspective on over 70 years of Dior’s iconic fashion legacy.

Curated by Florence Müller and brought to life by scenographer Nathalie Crinière, the exhibition provides an immersive journey into the world of Christian Dior, beginning with the legendary atelier at 30, avenue Montaigne in Paris. Visitors will explore Dior’s fascination with nature, particularly his love for gardens and the floral motifs that have inspired countless collections. Additionally, the exhibition highlights Dior's admiration for the grandeur of Versailles and the elegance of the Age of Enlightenment, reflecting his lifelong obsession with beauty, luxury, and refinement.

The retrospective showcases haute couture creations spanning decades, including designs from Dior himself and his successors, such as Yves Saint Laurent, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chiuri. These pieces, celebrated for their exquisite craftsmanship and innovative design, are presented as a testament to Dior’s enduring influence on fashion and the magic of haute couture.
