SHARJAH CHILDREN’S READING FESTIVAL: Take your little one along to the much-anticipated Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF) this week, which is currently in full swing at the Sharjah Expo Centre until May 29. Children will love taking part in any one of the 537 workshops, theatrical shows and other kid-friendly literary events, all hinged around the theme ‘For Your Imagination’, and featuring 27 authors from 15 countries, and more than 170 publishers. This week’s unmissable workshops include a virtual tour of Al Buhais Geology Park on Wednesday 26 May from 4-5pm, which will teach mini fossil fans all about the emirate’s fascinating, ancient landscape.
