First up, ‘Chhapaak’ actress Deepika Padukone. The beauty queen-turned-movie star was born in Copenhagen because her also famous father, badminton star Prakash Padukone, was mid training session in the Danish capital and the family had relocated during this time. After she was born however, the Padukones returned to India. The actor, who made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Om Shanti Om’, went on to become Bollywood’s highest-paid actress and has even been part of a Hollywood blockbuster, ‘XXX: Return of Xander Cage.’ Living the Bollywood dream? We think so.

This one’s got a thick accent and had to take many, many lessons in Hindi before she got there, but Katrina Kaif can now safely be called a bankable actor. The ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ actress was born in Hong Kong to a Kashmiri dad and British mum. Her early years saw her live in places including Hawaii and London. Nowadays, however, she’s firmly rooted to Mumbai.
