From February 1, 2020, any Phone running iOS 8 or older will no longer be supported. 'On iOS 8, you can no longer create new accounts or reverify existing accounts,' the company said in a blog post.

However, all people using smartphones running a Windows operating system have just one more day of WhatsApp use left - December 31, 2019. The website state: "WhatsApp will no longer support Windows Phone operating systems after December 31, 2019, and the app might not be available on the Microsoft Store after July 1, 2019."
