A massive onion, weighing 8.97kg, has been put on display at the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show in England. The onion, grown by Gareth Griffin, was displayed at the flower show, which is held twice a year.

The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show celebrated the birthday of British author Agatha Christie with a display of floral art inspired by her stories. The show also featured a variety of giant vegetables, which attracted around 30,000 visitors to Newby Hall in North Yorkshire.
