He took four boundaries from a Shaheen Shah Afridi over, but the Pakistan pace bowler had the last laugh dismissing him. MARKRAM MAKES 91: South Africa’s Aiden Markram continued his superb form despite the departure of De Kock and Bavuma. Even the fall of Van der Dussen and Klaasen refused to faze him and he shared a 29-run sixth wicket stand with Marco Jansen (20), who was dismissed by Haris Rauf with South Africa on 235. Markram’s brave innings of 91 (93 balls) was brought to an end by Usama Mir and South Africa were 250/7.

AFRIDI GIVES HOPE: Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed the wicket of South Africa's Gerald Coetzee, caught by Mohammad Rizwan, and South Africa lost their eighth wicket with a win 21 runs away. Lungi Ngidi succumbed 10 runs later and Pakistan were one wicket away from a win. South Africa 260/9 in 45.3 overs.
