Paul Casey - This year's Dubai Desert Classic champion hasn't played a solely European Tour sanctioned event since June, but finds himself in seventh on the Race to Dubai thanks to his triumph in Dubai and strong showings in the four Majors. A win this week could put him right in the mix for the season-long title.

Adri Arnaus - The Dubai-resident is still looking for a first European Tour win, but his last professional victory did come in the UAE at the season-ending Ras Al Khaimah Challenge Tour Grand Final in 2018. Has shown promising signs of ending the drought of late with a tied eighth finish at last week's Portugal Masters coming after a play-off defeat to Rafa Cabrera Bello at the Spanish Open.
