The Emirates Golf Federation recently hosted the March UAE National Monthly Medal at Arabian Ranches Golf Club.
More than 60 UAE national golfers gathered to compete across five different divisions, with Saleh Al Ameri claiming victory in the last Medal of the 2021-2022 UAE golf season.
Al Ameri scored 35 Stableford points and after his victory said: “I enjoy playing in these medals every month and seeing the UAE golf community play together. I wish everyone a Ramadan Kareem coming up and I look forward to seeing everyone soon.”
Runner-up was Yaslami Al Ameri with 32 points, while UAE team member Rashid Al Emadi fired an eight-over 80 for best gross score.
In the Senior Division, Amir Al Barki collected 40 points for victory.
Awards were also given based on handicap with an A Division (0-14 handicap) and B Division (14-24 handicap), with Mohammed Darwish and Ali See Al Afreet claiming the titles respectively.
For the Ladies Division, Reema Al Heloo won with 36 points, ahead of Alia Al Emaid.
In the Junior Division, Mohammed Skaik came in first with 34 points, ahead of Humaid Al Suwaidi.
During the event, the EGF hosted nine members of the National Foundation Squad and UAE Determined Golfers Programme on the Academy Course. The winner of the Par 3 Competition was Zayed Ali.
The next EGF event is on May 7 for the UAE Dubai Duty Free National Championship at Emirates Golf Club on the Faldo Course.
