Every year all global Troon-affiliated golf courses celebrate ‘Troon Family Golf Month’ and 2021 is no different at Yas Links and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club with both courses leading the way in introducing both non-playing parents and juniors to the game of golf.
Some great opportunities will be on offer for visitors, including complimentary golf for juniors, ease of access to the Championship Course at Saadiyat Beach and the Academy Course and Toptracer Range at Yas Links.
All families visiting the clubs in July can see their children play for free after 3pm on the Championship Course when playing with a paying adult. Juniors will also enjoy complimentary access, seven days a week on the Par 3 Academy Course at Yas Links before 3pm weekdays and after 3pm on weekends with a paying adult.

The courses have undergone recent improvements during the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure they are ready to meet the high level of demand of returning golfers. Both golf clubs have enjoyed tremendous growth in the number of rounds played from both daily fee guests and societies in the past 12 months. As such, Troon Abu Dhabi remains committed to its defined series of initiatives whether it be through ‘Grow the Game’, which enables affordable entry points for societies, or ‘Troon Family Golf Month’ every July.
At Yas Links, the bulk of these initiatives are focused on the Troon Academy, whose main aim is to introduce golf to new audiences and help grow the game throughout the emirate. Troon Abu Dhabi’s award-winning professionals are on hand to provide the very best in beginner learning experiences and also cater to seasoned professionals. Troon Abu Dhabi Golf Academy will also help beginners enhance their technique during their lessons with the clever use of video analysis, TrackMan ball radar and golf fitness. Visitors to Yas Links Abu Dhabi will also be able to take advantage of Hickory’s restaurant ‘Kids Eat Free Breakfast’ offer throughout the whole month of July, when dining with a paying adult.
