Ahmad Skaik, the UAE's No.1 golfer, carded a six over par 77 in the third round of the prestigious Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
A birdie on the sixth took the youngster to three under par for the tounament, but a bogey at the 492-yard par 4 for the third successive round dropped him back to two under. Doubles at eight and ten saw him fall over par for the first time this week, while dropped shots on the 11th and 13th left Skaik on four over par after 54 holes.
