Dubai: Get ready to grab your favourite coffee with a side of pastry! There are four new bakery cafes in town that customers are loving, some not just for their pastries but also their aesthetic. Here is the list of the new bakery cafes, their location, timings, and more.
1. Kneaded, Al Khawaneej
One of Dubai’s newest bakeries, Kneaded, opened earlier this month. It serves coffee, sweet and savoury pastries, and freshly baked loaves.
Instagram videos from residents show that the new neighbourhood bakery, located in Khawaneej, is quickly becoming popular among bread lovers.
The bakery cafe also has limited outdoor seating, for those who want to enjoy their coffee outdoors this winter.
For those with a sweet tooth, check out their flaky Pain au Chocolat, rich Almond Croissant, or the exquisite Vanilla Cruffin, a cross between a croissant and a muffin filled with luscious vanilla cream. The Pistachio Raspberry Cruffin and the Tahini Croissant seem to be customer favourites.
For savoury lovers, there are options like their spicy Jalapeño Cheese Croissant, Khameer Croissant, Tomato and Cheese Focaccia or Potato Focaccia. The menu also includes classics with a twist, like the Pain Suisse Hotdog and Pesto Roll Croissant.
Location: Al Khawaneej
Hours: 6 to 9am
2. Keto Kartel, Trade Centre
With a fully gluten-free menu, including keto, lactose-free, and sugar-free desserts, Keto Kartel is a new café that is a cosy, trendy space – great for meeting up with friends or a relaxed coffee date.
Visitors review the café for its welcoming ambience, pleasant view, and aesthetic and stylish interiors.
Customers say their cakes are delicious, but also a healthy alternative for anyone looking for healthier dessert options due to dietary restrictions.
The team behind Keto Kartel says the bakery café was inspired by a fictional heroine who breaks free from her toxic relationship with sugar, Keto Kartel was born from a desire to craft dessert alternatives that taste as indulgent as the ‘traditional treats’. Guided by her keto journey, she discovered a passion for crafting guilt-free desserts, ultimately founding a dessert cartel for those who refuse to settle for any compromise.
