The UAE's biggest celebration of Korean culture, the Korea Festival 2024, is back for its 12th year! Mark your calendars for November 15 and 16, and prepare to be immersed in all things Korean at Umm Al Emarat Park, in Abu Dhabi.
The event, organised by the Korean Cultural Center in Abu Dhabi, is in collaboration with the ongoing National Festival of Tolerance in the UAE. It is a nine-day annual festival, which began on November 8 and goes on till November 16, to celebrate the ‘International Day for Tolerance’ and promote tolerance and coexistence in the UAE.
Get ready to enjoy K-Pop performances, witness the beauty of traditional arts, and try delicious Korean cuisine. Don't forget to explore the cultural booths for a deeper dive into Korean art, crafts, and traditions.
According to an announcement by the Korean Cultural Center, K-pop fans can get their groove on with performances by the talented K-Pop band ‘The Wind’.
Immerse yourself in Korean culture with performances like ‘Unbelievable Show’ by Bubble J, the powerful sounds of K-Nongak by Gwangju City Municipal Gwangjiwon Nongak Band, and a display of Taekwondo by Akh Unit and the KCC Youth Taekwondo Team.
Savour the authentic flavors of Korea with a variety of food stalls offering delectable dishes. And, learn about Korean culture through engaging workshops and demonstrations starting from 3pm daily.

Day 1
• 5 to 6pm: ‘Unbelievable Show’ by Bubble J, outdoors near the amphitheater
• 7.30 to 8.30pm: K-Nongak, Gwangjiwon by Gwangju City Municipal Gwangjiwon Nongak Band
• 8.30 to 9pm: Taekwondo demonstration by Akh Unit with KCC Youth Taekwondo Team
• 9.30 to 10pm: K-Pop Band ‘The Wind’ performance
Day 2
• 5 to 6.30pm: The 12th UAE Korean Speech Contest
• 6.30 to 7.15pm: K-Pop meet and greet with ‘The Wind’
• 7.15 to 7.45pm: Taekwondo demonstration by Akh Unit
• 7.45 to 8.30pm: ‘Unbelievable Show’ by Bubble J
• 8.30 to 9.30pm: Namwon Gugak meets the UAE by Namwon Municipal Traditional Orchestra
• 9:30 - 10:00pm: K-Pop Band "The Wind" Performance
While the Korea Festival 2024 event is free-to-attend, please note that the park entrance fee is Dh10.
