Dubai: The first Chinar Business Council held in Dubai brought together businessmen, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and professionals to explore new avenues for success in the UAE.

Pak-Chinar Wing of Pakistan Association in Dubai organised the event with focus on providing a platform for the business community to exchange views on various aspects of running a successful business. The event also highlighted business ethics, UAE compliance regulations, taxation and the importance of a unified business platform for professionals.

Speaking on the occasion, Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan, said that the global business landscape has witnessed unprecedented changes in recent years. He said that technology, digitisation, and the rise of new economic models have transformed the way businesses operate due to which new sectors are emerging with incredible potential for growth and innovation.

“Such events allow us to engage in meaningful discussions, explore new business opportunities, and stay informed about the latest trends shaping economies and trade,” Muhammed said while appreciating the organisers of the Chinar Business Conference.

Assuring the business community of all-out support, the Consul General said: “We are here to facilitate your endeavours. I am confident that by working together, we can transform challenges into opportunities and unlock even greater potential in the years to come”.

The event was presided over by Amjad Kabir, President Pak-Chinar Wing of PAD. Dr Faisal Ikram, President PAD; Ali Zeb Khan, Trade & Investment Counsellor, Muhammad Abdul Rahim Al Noori from Dubai Municipality; Sajid Abbasi, CEO of a property company also spoke at the event.

Raja Amjad said the conference aimed at fostering business networking, create promotional opportunities, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the community.

“Key themes included promoting healthy business competition, offering a forum for job seekers and employers, connecting investors with entrepreneurs,” he added.

Alia Noor, Associate Partner Tax and Compliance from Ahmad Alghabari Chartered Accountants in Dubai, provided insight on the UAE tax compliance while young business leader Amman Haq from Microsoft Corp USA, discussed IT trends.

A panel discussion on Strategies to Become a Successful Entrepreneur’ was a highlight of the event. It was moderated by Muhammad Dawood Khan, head of education committee at Pakistan Association in Dubai. Panellists included Khalid Imtiaz, Sajid Iqbal, Samina Shaheen, and Nasir Bangash. They shared their diverse perspectives on entrepreneurship in a comprehensive 360-degree review.
