Dubai: On the occasion of Ramadan, the Punitive and Correctional Institutions at Dubai Police, in cooperation with the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation (ESAG), have distributed Ramadan Ration vouchers to the families of inmates to alleviate their financial burden.
Major General Ali Mohammed Al Shamali, Director of the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions at Dubai Police, stressed that charitable activities increase during this month. “Consolidating the values of generosity, philanthropic giving and performing charitable deeds without expecting anything in return demands integrated and organised work among all concerned parties. Therefore, Dubai Police have established close relations with charitable organisations and institutions in the country and are always keen on establishing agreements and launching humanitarian initiatives to achieve social solidarity that reflects our true religion”, Al Shamali added.
