Dubai: An Indian travel vlogger who landed in Iran received unexpected help from a Pakistani student leading to a warm exchange of views across the border.
The vlogger going by the name OnRoadIndian shared the video of his experience which went viral with people across the border and those from Iran praising the warm hospitality and love between people.
The IIT dropout turned vlogger was en route to Tehran from Moscow on his first visit to Iran. He was worried about the communication issues he might face and was checking with fellow passengers on the best sim, apps, and VPN to use in the country.
At the airport, he met Hussein, a Pakistani student in Iran who volunteered to help him. However, they couldn’t set up the VPN and he didn’t have internet or sim so Hussein offered to take him to his home and sort out everything in peace so that the vlogger could continue his journey.
They reached his home by taxi but while waiting downstairs when Hussein went up to pick up his card to pay for the cab, the vlogger began to have doubts whether it was okay to trust the new acquaintance or not. But then reassures himself that he will leave as soon as he makes some bookings as he has no other choice.
Once at home Hussein turns the house inside down in search of a sim for the visitor and finally manages to find it, helping him to continue the journey.
The video uploaded two weeks ago has so far collected 57,000 views and more than 232 comments.
